Now That You Have Your Business Idea, What’s Next?

Blog article by Epiphany Ntongana

One of the most amazing human experiences is when you encounter someone who lights up when they talk about something they are passionate about. They can be talking about their favourite football team and why they are the best, or they could be talking about their goals and ambitions and plans for the future.

The most animated people are however, entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. Their ideas about their product or service and how it will change the world often induces kindred feelings of excitement in us. However, one common thread that exists between these new and old entrepreneurs, is the nitty gritty part: taking that business idea and setting it down in such a way that there is a clear beginning and end with actionable points. Or perhaps it is an expansion plan that involves setting up shop in a new country. This involves the drawing up of business plans and financial proposals for first time entrepreneurs as well as business process mapping for the more seasoned entrepreneurs.

In the same way that a road trip involves planning for fuel expenses, road trip music, food and snacks as well as the necessary bathroom breaks, so is the case with a business. There will always be new potholes on the road you are familiar with, or perhaps the roadside cows will be a nuisance. Maybe, God forbid, the police may catch you for over speeding. All these are things we subconsciously account for. Again, in business, there is a need to be able to map out your way and plan as meticulously as possible.

Let Impact Business Consultants be your subconscious. We provide Company Formation and Secretarial Services to ease the setup process as well as Business Management Systems and Payroll Management, Recruitment and Secondments, Business and Trade licenses, Internal Audit & Risk Management Services, Work & Residence permits, Accounting & Tax Services.
